III RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES

1	(Menu #7) Participation in other activities designed by the station employment unit	Ongoing - Cenla Broadcasting works hand in hand with the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters to promote and recruit for the LAB “Broadcast Scholarship Program” a program that provides deserving students who wish to pursue a career in broadcasting with financial assistance and encouragement. The program will make available up to $4,000 annually in scholarship awards, to be given out as two individual scholarships equivalent to $1,000 per semester for one year, to students enrolled and attending classes on a fulltime basis, in a fully accredited broadcast curriculum at a Louisiana four-year college. Cenla provides airtime to promote the scholarship.
2	(Menu #5) Internship Program	February 3 – April 30, 2025 - Intern was trained on how to operate the board and studio equipment. They then operated the operations board for remotes/ball games and tracked weekend shifts as they earned course credit or volunteer time for their courses. Other opportunities were being at remote broadcasts, appearing on the morning show, assisting with social media and website sites.
